Das komplette Zündkerzenprogramm von NGK umfasst ein breites Spektrum an unterschiedlichen Zündkerzentypen:von der Standard-Zündkerze über die
Edelmetallzündkerze bis zur Doppel-Edelmetallzündkerze. Für nahezu jeden Motor bietet NGK daher die optimale Lösung.
Eine Vielzahl von NGK Zündkerzen stammen direkt aus der Erstausrüstung. Rund zwei Drittel aller Anwendungen, die seit dem Jahr 2000 in den NGK
PKW-Katalog aufgenommen wurden, nutzen die Fahrzeughersteller in Serie. Für den Automobilservice stellt NGK schon früh nach Serienstart Ersatzteile in
identischer Qualität bereit.
Kaum ein Auto kommt heutzutage ohne NGK Zündkerzen, Glühkerzen oder NTK Lambdasonden auf den Markt. Alle europäischen Automobilhersteller verwenden diese
Produkte bereits im Rahmen ihrer Fahrzeugproduktion.
Technologisch ist das Prinzip der NGK V-Line Zündkerzen genial einfach – aber überaus wirksam: In der Mittelelektrode ist eine V-Einkerbung eingebracht.
Dadurch springt der Zündfunke nicht in der Mitte sondern an der Außenkante der Mittelelektrode über. An dieser Stelle befindet sich mehr zündfähiges
Kraftstoff-/Luftgemisch als direkt zwischen den Elektroden. Und: Der Zündspannungsbedarf ist geringer. Somit erhöht sich die Zündsicherheit!
Besonders bei modernen Motoren, deren Kraftstoff-/Luftgemisch aus Gründen der Schadstoff-Reduzierung sehr mager eingestellt wird, ist durch die NGK
Konstruktion eine absolut zuverlässige Gemischentflammung jederzeit gewährleistet, auch unter extremen Betriebsbedingungen!
V-Line ist das erfolgreichste Zündkerzen-Sortiment aller Zeiten. Seit seiner Einführung im Jahr 1991 verkaufte NGK über 300 Millionen Zündkerzen dieses
Sortiments. Heute umfasst es 45 Zündkerzentypen und bietet immer eine optimale Zündkerze für mehr als 6.000 Fahrzeuganwendungen - das entspricht einer
Marktabdeckung von rund 90 %. Dank des Kurznummernsystems ist die richtige Zündkerze für ein Automobil dabei ebenso schnell gefunden wie nachbestellt.
Drei Viertel des Sortiments stammen aus der Erstausrüstung. V-Line umfasst neben Standard-Zündkerzen auch Platinzündkerzen oder Doppel-Platin-Zündkerzen.
22 V-Line Typen verfügen über die patentierte V-Einkerbung in der Mittelelektrode, welche die Verbrennung nachweislich optimiert.
