This is a heat protection tape in 50mm (2”) width and 15m (50ft) in length. With the heat protection tape all the hot parts of the engine components are wrapped.
Usually the heat radiation from the manifold will be reduced. This energy can be used to accelerate the turbine. Therefore the turbine efficiency is improved as well as the lifetime will be increased.
